Yes and no. Yes because they got a handful of very talented kids. NO because the down sizing process and the whole top 36 wildcard thing messed them up from getting the best top 12 to begin with. I prefer a better balance of ying and yang and this year there are to many guys. Variety is the spice of life and this year variety is limited. Some of the most talented of the 36 won't be on tour and to me that is a waste. The judges worked so hard to find the top 36 and then let some of the best fish slip through the cracks both before and after the party started. Fortunately there was enough talent to make the show very enjoyable but it could have been much better. I honestly would have loved them to have the people who were not selected compete and see what happened. Most years the top twelve is the cream of the crop but this year some of the best cream got away.3 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

No way, Kris is a joke, in my opinion, he can NOT sing at all. But, he has a good chance of winning and its so wrong. When it showed him going home, it showed his main fan base are very young girls, and all these babys wil prolly get him voted in as the next idol, sad huh when the idols are picked by children instead of adults. If he wins, i won't be watching anymore, whats the point. Adam is a true rock and roll star, and should be the winner by a mile.

NO! Allison Iraheta should be in the final three, then final 2, and then the WINNER. Kris is just a Rob Lowe look-a-like who all the COUGARS and teenage girs are voting for. I admit that Adam can sing, but he relies way too much on that high-pitched scream. Danny Gokey had a nice smile and an okay voice, but he never had that SUPERSTAR aura around him. My mom was trying to vote for Danny and she has alltel and every time she tried to vote the circuits were all busy!! Also she googled Idol and trouble getting your votes through kind of stuff and a whole web site dedicated to Kris Allen popped up and she found that it was a website dedicated too him and how to get your votes in the fastest and tips as well as video on how you can be able to text your vote in more than once!!! Definitely NO. Because my taste is quite unique (I can tell that with my favorite contestant of the year...Megan Joy, haha). Kris and Adam are great singers, but not my favorite types.

This season is my favorite EVER because of Adam Lambert. This man has such incredible talent and he blows me away every single week and every single week, I wonder "where the heck does he get those mad vocal skills??" I really don't like Kris all that much, I liked Danny better, but Adam Lambert is my American Idol this season, he's got everything!!!! Talent, good looks, that wow factor, everything!

ADAM is the best ever and makes this the best season ever!! he blows me away every time he opens his mouth!! Kris is just some wanna be gavin degraw im gonna play my stupid guitar and be boring all my life kind of guy. i dont like him or his lame voice. Adam should win it by a long shot but sadly some people cant get the "is he gay" thing. Shouldnt matter he is the best.

No I think season 7 was better than season 8.because,juges did not push anybody into media.They want adam to be the next american idol.so,they eliminated Danny by their silly comments.currently, Kris is the best for me.

Living in Australia we cannot wait from week to week to watch American Idol. This season is the best so far for myself and family, and my friends. It's had it's highs and it's lows but as been very entertaining all round.I just loved the fact that Paula got on stage and did her thing, and she was fantastic. The fact of who is in the top 2 as come down to votes and talent, and Adam Lambert is without a doubt the best ever so far on the show. He is a professional and a natural entertainer, who enjoys performing in front of an audience and puts his heart and soul into his act. Watch out, he is going to be a superstar and America is so lucky to have yet another one. We just love him over in Oz, we think he is the best. Keeping our fingers crossed for next week. We have watch parties every week where 2000 people get together and vote for 2 hours straight. Screamer or Not Adam has a career screaming and not screaming LOL, You obviously haven't heard this kid sing in Hebrew when the prime minister of Israel was shot, or classical, or in Joshua w/Val Kilmer who should not be caught singing. If you have then WOW Kris simply will not last in the industry he is extremely forgettable. You can sing well & still be forgettable My husband is a musician & a producer & he has said over & over again that he should not be in the position he is in at this very moment let alone the top 10. Matter of fact there were several that simply should not of made it to the top 36 period! however they selected who they selected for their own reason more so for publicity than talent. His fan base is mainly little girls too young to even comprehend what is considered a good vocal range, pitch etc, all they see is Kris looks closer to their age & that he is cute & sound good to them. Heck that is like saying the Disney Stars that sing are great singers get real they have there place for children's ears however they sure can not be compared to that of someone like Sarah Brightman, Josh Groban why their ranges are completely over their head as Adams is to them. If Kris were to win due to the many children/young girl votes it doesn't matter just like it didn't matter when Taylor Hicks won who ended up being far more successful Hmm? Anyway what the heck would you result to insults for is what I am wondering and make such a claim that 3 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you? |
